About Nukuna Interactive:

Nukuna Interactive is a Berlin-based development studio founded by parents with a shared vision: to create high-quality games, apps, and media for children that are safe, well-thought-out, and full of fun and knowledge. The foundation for this is the long-standing expertise from the renowned Master's program in Game System Design at the HTW Berlin – a program that has produced successful games such as " Dorfromantik " and " Abriss ." This expertise is enhanced by cultural studies expertise to combine playful content with in-depth learning and valuable historical references.

Supported by funding from the Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg and as part of the 2024 Startup Entrepreneurship Program of the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur (Digital Games Culture Foundation ), Nukuna Interactive is working to create digital experiences that excite children and give parents peace of mind. Together, they create media developed with heart and mind for the whole family.

About Jo & Rubi:

In the game "Jo & Rubi: Archaeology at the Harbor," young players accompany Jo, a curious child, and Rubi, the robin, on an exciting journey into the world of archaeology ! Children discover how real archaeologists work and, in a playful way, learn the secrets of history and what it really means to work archaeologically. The game offers a safe space for children: completely ad-free, without microtransactions, and with a child-friendly design that neither overstimulates nor overwhelms. A mix of adventure and knowledge transfer encourages curiosity, team spirit, and the joy of discovery.
